The Iroquois Native Americans

WHO WAS THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE!
The Iroquois Native Americans are a hunting and gathering tribe that lives in the area. They were a tribe of war where they killed many tribes because of land.They also belived in war spirts.
WHAT DO THEY WEAR EAT AND WHAT RELIGON DID THEY HAVE!
They wore deerskin skirts vests rabbit fur and moccasins made of leather and corn husks. They ate deer , beans ,corn ,squash ,maple syrup ,nuts ,roots, oils,and teas.They belived in spirts,prohets,and in spirtly beads, and spirt wear.
WHERE DID THEY LIVE!
The Iroquois Native Americans lived in Eastern woodlands in long houses in the 1500's hundreds in the state of New York next to the Atlantic ocean.They lived in a long house with 6 other familes.
WHAT ADVANCEMENTS DID THEY MAKE AND HOW DO THEY AFFECT US TODAY!
The made advancements in there homes,by making long houses.A long house can fit 30-60 people. They have holes in the top of the houses for smoke of fires.They built long houses by the inside with long pieces of wood and skins to cover the wall outside . It change the houses today because we learned easier and better ways to build,now we use brick.
WHY ARE WE STUDYING THESE PEOPLE!
We are studying these people to learn how they surivived. We want to know if they farmed or hunted. Plus did they have space to plant our not.
HOW DID THEY SURVIVE AND HOW MANY ARE ALIVE TODAY!
They survived by farming and hunting around the Woodland, where there we're a lot of animals and land for farming crops.They also survived by living togther in long houses to save warmth from each families fires.Plus each family shared if one had not plants or meat.For how many are left alive there are 50,000 alive.

The interesting facts we learned are the Iroquois Native Americans ruled most of the north east they ruled in three clans Turtle ,Bear,and Wolf.The tools they used are wood bowls for storing food and they used guns,bow and arrows, and blow dart for hunting and war.
