The Pawnee Native Americans
by: Malik R. and Maya
We are doing our project the Pawnee Native Americans. They lived along the Platte River in what is now Nebraska. They were agricultural people growing maze, beans, pumpkins and squash. They soon began to hunt buffalo.
These people lived in the 1800s. For there transportation they used a sled like device that is called a travios. A travios is pulled by dogs.
We are studying about Pawnee Native Americans because we want to learn about other cultures. It is intresting to learn about these tribes because it is cool to know about how they lived with the few things they had and how it is different today.
Most Pawnee people still live in Oklahoma today. We would like to thank our teacher Mr.Hawkins and Mr.David for helping us create this web page.We would also like to thank all the kids who are on this website right now and that are reading our information. We hope you like our web page.Thankyou.
